I was sent one of those 'personality' questionnaire things via email the other day - I didn't know these things were still in circulation! I don't think I've filled out one of these since college and pooh-pahed it a little when I first opened it. But reading through my friend's answers was quite entertaining, and the questions are quite random, so I thought I'd give it a go!
So, here's the kind of foodie I am...
What's your earliest dining out memory?
I don't think I was that young actually but I was at Beefeater with my family, which used to be a special treat for us. Towards the end of the meal, my mum took me and my sister to the loo. When we came back, we found that our dad had let the waiter clear our dishes away, when we hadn't actually finished - I was SO disappointed!
What's the weirdest thing you've eaten?
Pig's blood. I was in Hong Kong and my mum wouldn't tell me what it was until I tried it first. That's mean!
What would you never eat?
I'd try anything once, but never a whole chilli pepper...they scare me.
Favourite taste?
Good quality chocolate!
Worst taste?
Semolina, rice pudding, custard - to me, they're all from the same family and I can't stand the taste of any of them!
Proudest cooking moment?
I gave a little squeal and bounced with joy when I first tasted this Bailey's and Mascarpone Cake I made last month - it turned out so much tastier than I imagined it would be!
Worst cooking disaster?
Oh dear. I could be here for days. A quick glance through my Hungry-Jenny-Faux-Pas list and it's got to be when I tried to make my own burger for the first time.
What food puts a smile on your face?
A good-lookin' steak. And Skittles make me hyper.
What culinary skill would you love to master?
Baking without having to measure anything out. Ambitious I know!
You spot an unopened packet of biscuits on the street. Do you take them?
If they're not covered in mud, or in a puddle, and nobody was around...yes.
If you decide to answer this questionaire on your site, let me know, as would be interested to see what kind of foodie you are too!

The little bottle of Bailey's, I need to find it! And that cake, I need to make it. Somtimes I squeal with joy when sowemthing tastes THAT good too. You are not alone :)
such a cute posting! :-)
Thanks both!
Julia - I'm sorry, but that little bottle is long gone now ;-) I got them from a supermarket though in a multipack, so hopefully not too difficult for you to find!
