Time to spread #ChristmasKindness with a #KindnessAdventCalendar
Happy 1st of December!
So last week, I saw a tweet about a Kindness Advent Calendar created by a lovely lady called Helen, who writes a blog called Make Today Happy. It's a simple yet genius idea to get into the spirit of Christmas and spread a little festive cheer each day in the run up to Christmas.
Instead of scoffing a choc every day for the next 25 days, you do a random act of kindness instead. Helen has created this calendar here, which you can download here for free.
Of course, you don't necessarily have to follow this exactly to a T - you can swap around the acts, or throw in your own ones - the point is all about just doing one little kind thing each day.
Today's one is 'share this Kindness Advent Calendar to encourage others to practice kindness this month' - so today I've shared it with my family, friends and work - and naturally I thought I'd share here in the hope that you might like to take part too :-)
Helen also has a Spreading a Little Kindness Facebook page and is on Twitter as @HelenCGreenUK with hashtags #KindnessAdventCalendar #ChristmasKindness and if you take a look, you'll see how much love is being shared about this. She's already had well over 100,000 downloads already as well - that thought alone of so many people having the intention of being kind is just awesome. And even if you end up doing just one act of kindness - it's still one more than zero ;-)
So what are you waiting for? Get involved - download the calendar, share it and keep spreading the kindness!
